I haven't been able to find any proof of that. The best sounding piece of info on the subject was the fact that birds are light and need to be light, by nature, in order to fly, so they tend to ...get rid of any waste in their system as soon as possible. So, that probably precludes the possibility of selective and targeted crapping! :)

Hi!

I have a question about bird/pigeon droppings. Are they marked their territories ? I need a proof for the link because my friend said that they droppings due that they are sexual activities. I don't think so.

Pigeons and similar pest birds will quickly recognize the Red-tail Hawk for it can be found in a wide range of habitats and altitudes. This includes deserts, marsh-shrubs, grasslands, coniferous and deciduous forests, agricultural fields, and even urban areas. It is a very adaptable bird, equally at home in varying heights above sea level, and capable of breeding throughout much of North America-from western Alaska and northern Canada all the way down to Panama. Red Tails can also be found in cities, perched along highways on utility poles and other lofty structures. So pigeons and other pest birds will always be on the lookout for this highly skilled predator

The most effective way to get rid of pigeons is to reduce the food supply. Some cities also use avian contraceptives, which control the pigeon population by decreasing the viability of the egg.

Bird invasion is a problem most homeowners face after spring, and gets worse during the summer. Without anything to control these birds, this can spell disaster for your home, garden and family welfare. Bird discharges carry bacteria and viruses that can affect the health of the entire household. An ultrasonic bird repeller is one of the many bird control products to choose from.
